homesteading for decades, built our current place on 50 acres in 1984 earth sheltered, pv powered, native materials...mighty inexpensively.  added a strawbale studion in 1994, which we've now turned into a cabin.  I've built log cabins, done stone work, shod horses, worked as an engineer.  vietnam vet, i came back to the world in march of 1971.

wife is a wholistic therapist and a wonderful partner.
