Homestead forum diaspora

I have lived in New Mexico for so long that I'm "almost" an adopted daughter. 

I enjoy gardening, embroidery, hypertufa sculpture and am going to school to learn soil science and plant science.  I hope to work in a nursery or as a landscaper in the future.

My interests are in nature, reading, genealogy, crafts, role-playing games (like D&D, Star Wars, Rifts, etc), self-sufficiency, homesteading and preparedness.

I am very eclectic in my religious beliefs. I believe that God, is a universal force that is neither/both genders and has many facets like a diamond, in universal truth that are true for all persons, religions, places and times. I am eclectic and embrace all good religions not just Christianity and lean towards nature-based spirituality. I prefer following a personal path instead of going to structured Churches.
