The U.S Geological Survey released a statement that confirms that during routine survey work along the Arctic coastline they found “fur loss and open sores were detected in nine polar bears over a two week period". These lesions are consistent with radiation poisoning. Wildlife experts are studying whether the symptoms detected in these nine polar bears is widespread and related to similar incidents found recently among seals and walruses.

Hmmm. Not surprising. I'm wondering where they think the radiation poisoning is comming from. My first guess would be bioaccumulation from the sea.

The more I thought about this today, the more terrifying I found it. Here everyone is preparing for the zombie apocalypse/collapse of society, but if what we should really be preparing for is radioactive fallout, we're gonna be pretty screwed. How many do you know that have full bomb shelters built to live in (not just stay for a day)?

In Japan cancer of the thyroid in children was unheard of before the accident. Now there are multiple cancers being reported. Prediction are that over a million new cases of cancer will be because of the accident. You ask where the exposure is coming from and why Polar bears; Walruses and Seals are showing signs of radiation poisoning? Look no further than Fukushima.

Noted physicist David Suzuki (Not a tin foil hat wearer by any means) has said, there is a 95% chance of another 7.0 earth quake in the next three years. He also has stated publically if that happens the entire country of Japan and the whole of the west coast of America will have to be evacuated. The rods of the number four reactor are still sitting in a pool 5 stories above the core's chamber. Some 1,650 are spent, but still too hot to move and then there is the fact the entire reactive rods that were being used right before the earth quake were also put in the cooling pool so maintenance could be done to the reactor, They lost core number three, core number 4 has already melted through the containment building and is melting its way down into the earth. When it hits the water table....... KABOOM!!!

There were over 14 cores in trouble, 6 were unable to be cooled and contributed to the massive release of radiation. Core number three exploded and core number 4 is threatening to. Fukushima is threatening the entire planet and Japan will not admit it's out of thier hands and they need the world's help to find a solution before it's too late.

Fun stuff just so we can boil some water, ain't it?

And the water that is  being used to cool the remaining cores so they don't explode is so hot it can't be released or reused. So guess what? They are storing this water in hundreds of quickly built tanks right on site. (These tanks are two stories tall) Right on an active earth quake fault. How many of you think these hundreds of tanks, holding thousands of gallons of water, that is so hot if you were exposed to the contents you would be dead in minutes, will survive the next earth quake?

The whole thing is insane. Why can't other countries waltz in and tell them they're going to help fix it?

Japan needs an international intervention, like three years ago.

This is NOT just affecting them. Who do they think they are to be so selfishly ignorant, America?

A controlled meltdown? What does that even entail?? Will that kill everyone there, or everyone on the entire planet, when it goes wrong?

Since reactor three already exploded I think it's more like dropping a nuke. The meltdowns have already passed both the bombs of Heroshima and Nagasaki when it comes to the amount of radiation released.
