Homestead forum diaspora

No photos and no links.   Just a comment that the wife made me clean out the closet and I ran across a package of photos that i took of the land right after i bought it in the fall of 2004.  Was interesting to see exactly how things looked back then.  The dead tree often prominently featured in the many photos that I posted over on the old forum looks very much alive in 2004, for example.  Weeds look to be about one year's worth of growth.

For some reason, at the time i totally overlooked the fact that the weeds, and saplings, would keep growing.

Am innocent no more.

It is strange to look back at this place nearly 30 years ago, 25, 20 etc...a lot of changes.

Trees really do give us a reality check into the passing of time, like kids who have grown...or the face in the mirror which looks back at me...
