Yesterday I put three Venison roasts (probably 10 lbs of meat or so) in a pot with a mixture of italian dressing and some dry wine, with a dash of olive oil. Poked holes through it all over ith a BBQ fork and let it sit all day. Last night we drained off some of the marinade, added water to cover, and seasoned it heartily with salt, pepper, garlic, and a couple bay leaves. Slow cooked it all night. It was done this morning, and now it's just sitting in the crockpot on "warm", till lunch.

It was decent. It was a haunch from a big buck, so I wasn't expecting much more than for it to be edible.

Made homemade turkey noodles soup a few days ago and finished it for lunch yesterday. Homemade broth was amazing. How did I not know how easy this was? Today, not sure. Probably leftover beans and ham.

Got up early and made breakfast, so we bypassed lunch...Cheryl had two clients and I had someone stop by to interview me...funny. Supper...tandoori chicken breasts and curried maple glazed carrots/onions...big salad.
