Just for interest I did a quick check of the 'members' on the old forum, keeping in mind that the membership was 'reset' around June when the forum was 'updated' it seems that around 300 folks took the time to regester over that period. Of those aprox one third made 3 or more posts, about 80 have visited the site in the last month or so but only about 40 in the last week so there are no doubt some folks who do not know about the demise of the old forum. I do hope that Neil will be good enough to send out that email to all those previously regestered even if it goes out to a couple of hundred 'inactive' members. | |

I realize that my voice has become uncharacteristically quiet in the last couple of years, but I can never forget the names and the stories that have been shared through the Homestead.org forum. The magic of the friendships that have, in some cases, moved to the 'next level' will survive. | |

So good to "see" familar faces... hadn't realized how used to "going to " the old forum I was ... for almost 9 years. Neil was right, I never went there for the articles or information, just for the forum. I ended up reading the articles because of the forum, and they were there. | |
